Played this with my kids on a rainy Saturday and the daimyo alliance backstabbing kept everyone at the table for three rounds straight. The hidden agenda cards are what make it, since nobody trusts anybody by the end.

The secret agenda mechanic had our whole table second-guessing each other by round three, which is exactly what I hoped for from a game like this. My kids picked up the rules faster than I did honestly.

As a parent, I appreciate games that sneak in learning without the kids noticing, and the daimyo alliance angle here is perfect for that. We've played it three nights in a row, and my kids are already negotiating alliances like tiny political strategists. Great filler for a game night when you want
