Learn what's inside the Finding Dory Feature Figures Bailey set, how the echo-location sound works, and tips for displaying this collectible.
Quick Answer
The Finding Dory Bailey figure includes the character with a push-button echo-location sound, requires three LR44 batteries (included), and is best displayed on a sturdy shelf away from direct sunlight to preserve its colors.
Why the Echo-Location Sound Matters
Bailey is a beluga whale who uses echo-location in the movie, and this figure recreates that sound when you push on it. That interactive feature makes it more engaging for kids during play and adds a fun detail for collectors who appreciate movie accuracy.
Because the sound is powered by three LR44 batteries, you'll want to keep the figure within easy reach for play but also consider battery life if you plan to display it long-term. The sound activates only when pressed, so it won't drain batteries just sitting on a shelf.
Display Considerations for Collectors
If you're displaying the Bailey figure rather than letting kids play with it, choose a spot that's stable and out of direct sunlight. Prolonged sun exposure can fade the figure's colors over time, especially the blue and white tones.
The figure's size and shape make it easy to pose on a shelf or desk, but avoid placing it near edges where it could be knocked off. A glass display case or a high shelf works well for keeping it safe while still visible.
