I went in thinking it was just another trick-taking game, but the suits actually matter in a way that keeps every hand tense. We played four rounds and nobody could agree on who was really ahead until the last card hit the table.
I was skeptical at first because the rules sounded simple, but the way trumps override everything creates these tense moments where you're holding your breath on every play. We've already run through a dozen hands tonight and the table's still buzzing.
I was a little worried the rules would be hard to follow for my group, but the trumps add such a clever twist that everyone picked it up within a couple hands. The depth comes from deciding when to break suit, and it’s been our go‑to opener all week.
