GNOMI vs TROLL Il Gioco di Carte a Tre Angoli

The troll cards that steal treasure right when you think you've won had us all groaning and laughing at the same time. Took one round to learn the rules, then we played four more. Good balance of luck and sneaky little decisions for a family game.

My kids are 7 and 10 and this became our go-to after-dinner game — the three-corner setup is different from the usual card games we own. The sneaky surprise cards had my youngest giggling every time someone stole his treasure.

The treasure-counting twist keeps things tense right up to the last hand, which my kids loved. Only gripe is that the rules sheet could explain the surprise cards a bit more clearly for first-timers.
