Drijfzand

Played this with my two kids last weekend and the frantic scramble to deactivate the gears before the sand fills up had us all yelling at each other in the best way. It's genuinely cooperative, so nobody sits out or gets eliminated while the parents figure out the puzzle.

The co-op timer on the sand gears gets tense fast, and we lost our first round with ten seconds left on the clock. Played it three nights in a row with my 9-year-old, and she's the one reminding me which lever to pull now.

We were looking for something the whole family could play without one person dominating, and this hit the spot. The real-time pressure of the gears actually got my kids shouting and laughing together instead of bickering over turns. It’s become our Friday-night default.
