DOWN THE CHIMNEY - Santa’s dropping the gift of words in this nifty, new card game. In Down The Chimney, each card will show a sequence of clues that will change your starting word by one letter with each clue given.
Took this on a weekend trip and we ended up playing for two hours straight. Changing your starting word one letter at a time sounds simple but it gets surprisingly tricky, especially when the clues throw you off. Cards are sturdy too, survived a few spills already.
The clue cards that shift one letter at a time really make your brain work in a fun way, and it's surprisingly quick to pick up. My group kept asking for another round, and the puzzle flow stays challenging without ever feeling frustrating.
Played this with my family on Christmas Eve and the one-letter word transformations kept everyone guessing way longer than expected. The clue sequences are cleverly paced so even the kids could jump in without getting stuck. It’s now our go-to warm-up game before the gift chaos starts.
