Family Puzzles is a new puzzle activity to help children understand and identify how different families are made up and what different families may look like Children have fun trying to match the different families together, and they can also use the pieces to build a picture of what their own family looks like Contains 54 pieces. Ages 4+
My 4-year-old actually sits still for this, which never happens. She loves finding the right family pieces and I like that it shows all different kinds of households without making a big deal of it. We've played it every night this week.
The matching pieces are thick and sturdy enough that my two kids can play without me worrying about them bending. We use it to talk about how our neighbors' family looks different from ours, which turned into a nice little chat. Genuinely a hit at our house.
My 4-year-old asks for this almost every day now, and I like that the pieces show all different kinds of families rather than just one setup. The matching is simple enough that she can do it alone, but she still talks through who belongs with who every time.
