We've been playing this at dinner with my parents and it's become our new favorite wind-down game. Collecting sets of identical bulbs is simple enough for my mom to pick up in one round, but the luck element keeps it tense. Games run about fifteen minutes, which is perfect.
The push-your-luck mechanic makes every round tense in the best way, and completing a set of identical bulbs feels so satisfying. We played four rounds in a row without checking our phones once.
My family pulled this out after dinner three nights in a row now, and the set-collecting tension gets everyone leaning in even though it's supposed to be relaxing. The identical bulb sets create just the right amount of suspense without turning into a stressful game night.
