I grabbed this for a game night and we ended up playing until 2am. The way the digital warriors level up between matches kept everyone hooked, even the friend who usually checks out after one round.

The idea of spectators watching digital warriors fight in a giant arena sounded gimmicky to me at first, but the way the game turns each match into a full spectacle won me over fast. The base game alone has enough variety that I've played it four nights straight.

The spectacle of digital warriors duking it out feels properly futuristic, and the way each arena ramps up the stakes kept me glued to my controller for hours. It's exactly the kind of over-the-top competition I was hoping for.
