Played this with four people and the tension of deciding whether to swim or hold still is way more fun than it sounds. The rubber shark mechanic had my sister yelling at the table by round three. Easy to teach in five minutes, too.
The squeaky shark keeps everyone at the table tense in the best way, and the numbers game is simple enough that my kids picked it up in one round. We've played it maybe ten times in a week, which says a lot for a filler game.
The dread of hearing that squeak right as you're about to win is hilarious, and the push-your-luck with numbered cards keeps everyone on edge. The shark mechanic is brutal in the best way, and we've already played it three times tonight.
