The popping mechanic is way more satisfying than I expected, especially when you chain a few flips together and the whole twelve-card tableau shifts. Castle Heterodyne adds enough weird interactions that our group keeps finding new combos.
I grabbed this deck to mix things up and the twelve-card tableau setup makes every turn feel like a real puzzle. Spinning and popping cogs to trigger combos is way more satisfying than I expected, and games stay quick enough to play a few in a row.
The cog-flipping mechanic where you pop cards off the twelve-card tableau is oddly satisfying once it clicks. Took a round or two to get the spin interactions straight, but now it's our go-to filler between heavier games.
