Setup takes barely five minutes, and the cooperative flow of stopping settlers with unique spirit powers feels tense from the very first turn. I’ve played it solo twice already and the 1-3 player range makes it perfect for a quiet evening with tea.
The board comes alive when the fear cards start flipping, and my group’s first three-player session ran smoothly after one rule read-through. Solo play is just as tense, and the spirit powers feel distinct enough that I’m already planning my next two runs.
