Turning the tables on adventurers is way more satisfying than I expected, and the revenge mechanics actually make you think before each fight. Setting traps for those noisy groups never gets old.
Playing as the monster sounded like a gimmick, but the revenge mechanic actually has real weight to it. Repelling wave after wave of adventurers who just wanted to loot my home felt genuinely satisfying.
I didn't expect to feel bad for the monsters, but here I am defending my little fortress from wave after wave of adventurers. The revenge setup is simple to pick up, though it took me a couple of runs to get the hang of it.
