The World-Tree board piece alone sold me, but the way the clans interact during Evenfall keeps every game tense right to the last turn. Played three rounds back to back and nobody wanted to stop.
The art on these cards is genuinely gorgeous, and the box insert actually keeps everything organized without baggies. Setup took us about ten minutes and the first round flowed faster than I expected for a strategy game. The World-Tree piece adds a nice visual anchor to the table too.
The World-Tree artwork on the main board is gorgeous and really pulls everyone into the theme. Turns move fast once you've learned the clan powers, and the era-change mechanic keeps each round feeling different. Played it three times the first weekend.
