My wife and I have played this five times in two weeks, and the 20-domino pyramid still feels different every time. The multi-level scoring sneaks up on you — you think you're losing, then the last few tiles flip everything.
Didn't expect a domino-laying game to have this much going on. Building your pyramid from 20 tiles and then realizing the gem icons only pay off if you plan the levels right — my first game I completely ignored that and lost by a mile.
Matching gem icons across the pyramid is more satisfying than I expected, and the scoring layers keep you thinking a few turns ahead. Only gripe is the dominoes feel a bit thin, but for the price it's a solid filler.
