A'Writhe: Een Spel van Eldritch Kronkels

The two-player teams are what sold me — one person plays the cultist giving orders while the other flails around as the Great Old One trying to contort into the right shape. My wife and I were laughing so hard we forgot whose turn it was. Genuinely the most fun we've had with a new board game in age

Didn't expect a game where one player is literally bossing the other around to work so well, but the cultist instructing the Great Old One gets hilarious fast. The contortion part is no joke either, we were all tangled up by round three.

The two-player team mechanic is such a clever twist—my partner and I were literally yelling clues at each other as the cultist tried to guide me through the summoning. The asymmetric roles keep every round tense, and the contortion-themed cards make for some hilarious tabletop mime moments.
