Adding the tower makes the castle feel like a real fortress instead of a flat pile of bricks. The Mighty Plunger is the star though, it fires with a satisfying thunk and knocks down way more than I expected. My kids now argue over who gets to use it every single round.
The tower bricks snap onto my existing castle without any wobble, which I was worried about since the base set is already a bit top-heavy. Adding the extra height completely changed how we play—my son now actually strategizes instead of just firing away.
The Mighty Plunger is an absolute riot—my group couldn't stop laughing when it sent ammo flying in a totally unexpected arc.
