The whole saloon showdown theme is what sold me, and the finger-folding race actually delivers. We played six rounds straight and my knuckles were sore the next morning, which I'm choosing to take as a good sign.
Took this to a family game night and my sister literally could not stop laughing trying to fold her fingers fast enough to beat the saloon challenge. The cowboy theme is silly but it works, and rounds move quick so nobody gets bored waiting for a turn. Didn't expect a finger-folding game to get this
The finger-folding challenges get hilariously tense once the saloon theme kicks in, and the table setup makes it easy to jump straight into a duel. I've played it three nights in a row with friends, and even the losers are grinning while they try to untangle their hands.
