The secret Princesses of the Twelve Lands setup hooked our whole group right away, and the combat-plus-guile mix kept everyone guessing until the final round. We played three games back to back and nobody wanted to stop.
Didn't expect a hidden-role game to feel this tense with just four players. The Princesses of the Twelve Lands each play so differently that we immediately wanted a rematch to try another one. Combat and guile both actually matter here, which is rare.
The rule-by-midnight mechanic is such a clever twist—it forced our group to balance hidden alliances against pure combat, and every round felt like a fresh betrayal. Even the card art managed to set the mournful, tense mood perfectly. We’re already planning a third session this weekend.
