The influence tug-of-war between players is genuinely tense, and recruiting sea creatures to shift the tide of power kept our whole table hooked. Games run about an hour, which felt right, though we immediately wanted a rematch. The underwater business theme is silly in the best way.
I picked this up expecting a light card game and got genuinely cutthroat strategy instead. Recruiting creatures to build your influence is simple to teach, but the power swings when someone flips the tide on your whole operation are brutal in the best way.
The tide-turning tension when the last recruitment happens is unreal—even after three plays, the power swings still catch me off guard. The way each creature's ability reshapes the whole board keeps every round feeling fresh. Solid addition to any game night.
