The Experiences expansion adds a whole new layer to the base game with the dream cards — suddenly my family is planning trips and hobbies instead of just racing for happiness points. Plays in about an hour with four of us, which is perfect for a weeknight.
I picked this up thinking it'd be a small add-on, but the Experiences cards honestly change how the whole game plays. Dreaming up trips and big life goals with everyone at the table got way more fun than just chasing the basic happiness track.
The Experiences cards add so much more to the base game, especially the travel and hobby goals that give each turn a real story. We played twice in one night and never repeated a scenario.
